Dementia & Disabilities Escape™ | IN-PERSON

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Dementia and Disabilities Escape™ is a hands-on training program that gives course participants the opportunity to experience first-hand the anxiety, frustration, fear, and confusion that adults with dementia and other disabilities may experience. We use sensory stimulation and deprivation equipment to allow care professionals and family members to literally “step into the shoes” of those they care for who are experiencing the physical and emotional challenges of the varying stages of dementia. 

CLASS RESCHEDULE POLICY 

Classes require at least 10 students to proceed as scheduled. If classes do not meet the minimum attendance policy, they will be rescheduled later, and all students will be informed before the class.

If you would prefer not to be photographed or recorded in any capacity, please let your instructor know.
